A legend in his own right on the Ibiza scene, Sunny Ramzan is known for his unique role as "Director of Vibes" at Pikes Ibiza. 

For over a decade, Sunny hosted their infamous parties, making sure that everyone had the time of their lives..

With over 25 years of experience in hosting events and PR in Ibiza, Sunny has also been a celebrant in Ibiza for over 10 years.  He's officiated most of the ceremonies at Pikes Hotel as well as several other noted venues around the island.

We’re already familiar with his sartorial elegance but it’s his unique charm and charisma that has been adding a touch of magic to wedding ceremonies, birthdays and anniversaries.

What's the best wedding you've ever hosted?

It’s very difficult to single out any one particular event or ceremony as there’ve been too many to mention.

However, I did get asked to be Master of Ceremonies at a very prestigious wedding ceremony at Pacha's Destino Hotel in Ibiza. There were over 200 guests and I was terrified beforehand but I just let go and it turned out to be a night in Ibiza that people still talk about!

Putting people at ease and creating a relaxed and convivial atmosphere is something I’ve become pretty accomplished at. Thus, the self-professed title: Director of Vibes!

I have always aspired in giving guests what I call my Triple E’s.

I’m a huge fan of a roadside cafés and there are plenty out here in Ibiza and most are open all year round. Bar Can Toni on the Santa Eulalia road & Bar Anita in San Carlos are amongst

my regulars. But Bar Can Tixedo in San Antonio has been one of my favourites ever since I moved out here in 2011.

Get a dog! I never imagined I would say this but after 4 years Che – my pooch, is the best thing that’s happened to me.

The Little Prince – A beautifully illustrated book full of life lessons for both the young and the old. Talking of which, I was given a Pop-Up version for my 50th birthday! Never too late.

 

Happiness – Todd Solondz. Such an incredible ensemble cast of characters. No big names just an amazing script and subjects we’re too ashamed to discuss. Be warned, it’s not for the squeamish!

 

Simple – they suit my Sunny disposition! I’ve always been known for my vivacious dress sense and Frangipani definitely helps show off my true colours.   

 

Fleur de Lis. It’s such an iconic emblem. Instantly recognisable and classy!
